This Budget safari to track Gorillas, chimpazees and see other animals in Queen Elizabeth starts and ends in Kigali and End Kampala. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular tourist destination, offering breathtaking scenery and an abundance of wildlife. The park is home to over 600 varieties of bird and 95 mammal species, including lion, elephant, hippo, leopard, buffalo, hyena, warthog and various antelope.

Day 1 Drive From Kigali to Bwindi National park

Our Driver will meet you either at the airport or Your Hotel In Kigali and Transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park, the 4-hour journey to Bwindi Park will includes the border crossing. You will need an East African Visa that is obtainable from the first East African Country that you Visit (Kenya-Rwanda – Uganda are participants in the East African Visa Program). Along the way you shall have spectacular views of the terraces of the Ugandan and Rwandan mountains. This area is called the “Switzerland of Africa”. Arrive late in afternoon, enjoy self walk in nearby villages, dinner and overnight.

Day2: Gorillas Trek and Transfer To Queen Elizabeth Park

This morning you will get up very early and drive to Bwindi national park for the upcoming gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. stay with Gorillas 1 hour, then back at the lodge, take lunch, check out and transfer to Queen elizabeth national Park.

Day3: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five including Buffalos, elephants, Lions and other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas and water bucks. In the afternoon hours you will get ready for a launch cruise along Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen along including the rare shoe bill. Diner and overnight.

Day 4 Chimpanzees Tracking, Drive to Kampala

After a very early morning breakfast, head to Kalinzu Forest around 6-00 am for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. Later embark on an exciting road trip and Transfer To Kampala the Capital city of Uganda, arrive late evening and Transfer at your Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Kampala city Tour and Transfer to the airport

Morning After Break fast, at 9:00 am Go for a short city tour of Kampala. Kampala is Uganda’s national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake. During these short city tour you willsee Kampala’s Hills covered with red-tile villas and trees surrounding an urban center of contemporary skyscrapers and Visit the Lubiri Palace, the former seat of the Buganda Kingdom at Mengo Hill. The tour will last 3 Hours, then we transfer you at Entebbe airport.

What to Bring:

You must bring appropriate walking or hiking shoes as trainers are not suitable for the forest terrain. Waterproof clothing, preferably dark in colour as bright colours will attract insects, is necessary since the forest is at high altitude so there is a good chance of rain. Remember to bring high-factor sunscreen and a hat too, most of all don’t forget your yellow fever vaccination card.
